Despite our eagerly awaited Caves club venue being cancelled 15.00 on the day of the Bear Bash, we had a great weekend! The weather was fantastic and we saw a lot of familiar faces travel to Bournemouth. Here's some photos!

New President, Simon Baker
It's all change on the Bournemouth gay scene, with new owners of The Exchange, and New Management soon at The Branksome. South Coast Bears is also going through the change, and it's all very positive.
Simon Baker has been President since June and has already made huge changes designed to attract Bears to the scene by introducing the SCBB Facebook group and bringing well known and loved acts like Bearlesque, and Tonker DJs to our BearBash and moving the club to a new era.
New Webmaster, Daniel Freeman
Daniel Freeman joined the committee earlier this year as the Treasurer and is now taking on the website too. He joins the committee with many years of website experience and hopes to keep the website in the state that it has become accustom.
Outgoing President, Simon Bell
Simon Bell, one of the founder members of SC Bears and President for the last four and a half years has stepped down from the committee. The fabulous funster is without doubt the liveliest member, peppering the nights with saucy stories of just about every shenanigan that he’s ever gotten up to (some of which would make your hair curl.)
Simon has played a key part in making South Coast Bears the success that it is today and we’re pleased that Simon will still be part of SCBB enjoying our regular meets and future events.
We would like to thank Simon for all his efforts, support, un-doubted enthusiasm and the role he’s played over the years and we all look forward to seeing you at the next Bear meet.
Outgoing Webmaster, Martin Clark
We are also sad to say farewell to Martin Clark who leaves SC Bears this month.
Martin has helped develop SCBB’s image and the most fantastic website for the group and all the posters. Martin started the website from the beginning and now the site receives over 1,000 visitors a month. He has been a fantastic part of the committee and his skills at design and marketing has really put SCBB on the map. Thank you Martin!
